A change to the Google Privacy Policy that you should know about

I'm sure I'm not the only one who always finds it a little disconcerting when an item I was shopping for on the web pops up as a Facebook ad. Well, get ready to see more of that on Google, unless you opt-out of their new privacy policy. If you were an existing Google user, then you would have received an email asking you to opt-in to their new privacy policy, which allows your Chrome browsing history along with your activity on other websites and apps to improve Google services and ads. However, new Google account users since June 2016 were automatically opted-in, and will want to check settings if you don't want Google accessing your history and activity. Head over to the Activity Controls section (be sure you're logged into Google), and make sure the box next to "Include Chrome browsing history and activity from websites and apps that use Google services" is unchecked.
