Raise your hand if you've got a cord nest somewhere in your home that looks more like a design magazine "before" instead of an "after."
I am raising my hand. Okay, both hands.
So I'm thrilled to find a smart, affordable, nice-looking solution in the Bluelounge CableBox. In white or black, it fits a basic surge protector or powerstrip inside, threads the wires through channels on one end and...boom. "After."
Checking the dimensions it's 15.6" long by 6" wide, so you should have no problem even with dual strip surge protectors. It's got no slip grips underneath so it won't slide around if you've got it on your hardwood floors under your desk. And I'm delighted to see that it's made from a fire-retardant plastic, because I'm the type of person who worries about that kind of thing.
Hooray for simple ideas that solve big problems. I'm sold.
