Finally a way to recharge those regular old batteries.

Every time I throw out a used battery, I feel a little pang of eco-guilt. But the investment in rechargable batteries for every remote, ever gadget, every kids' toy that beeps and boops in our home would be pretty big. So I am absolutely fascinated by this battery recharger that gives your regular old batteries a new life.

It's meant to charge regular old disposable AA and AAA batteries safely--something you can't do in a charger meant specifically for rechargable batteries.

Plus it only takes about 90 minutes to get a full charge; hey, that's nearly as much time as it takes you to read the directions on those kids' tablets and toys anyway.
