Which foods are Kosher for Passover? There's an app for that too.

Passover is coming and I will admit up front, I never have any real idea of what is Kosher for Passover. In my house growing up it was always pretty much no bread and no cereal--but obviously it's a little more complex than that for those more observant. Apple juice? Chocolate ice cream? No reason to guess with this app. Orthodox Union, the leaders in kosher certification who supervise hundreds of thousands of products, have released the Kosher Foods app for your kosher-keeping convenience. Just search for any item or brand and you'll know whether its in the clear for Passover.

It's a mighty handy app to have on hand when you're in those supermarket aisles, finding the right things to fill the cabinets for all 8 days, or for a treat to bring to the Seder of an observant family. Now if it could only find the afikomen. -Stephanie M
