Got a shiny new iPad over the holidays but still searching for just the right case? If you're anything like me, you want something to keep your precious new tech toy totally safe without sacrificing style. Even better: A totally custom case that no one else at the office or playgroup will be sporting either.
I'm loving the custom photo iPad cases from M-Edge which are as cool looking as they are simple to make.
Upload a favorite high-resolution photograph to their website. They'll give you lots of tips and pointers on sizing and how to arrange it on the mock-up case you'll be able to play with on their site. You can even choose your own colors for the spine of your case, play with color and patterns around your photographs or add your own custom text.
But it's not just about looks--the case itself is thick and protective and holds my iPad securely in place, with ScotchGard on the outside to repel against liquid, and coffee drips (ahem.) And the case interior is made from a super-smooth micro suede with a handy little pocket for things like notes, grocery lists, and those receipts you've been meaning to scan.
And while I'm always skeptical of quality when it comes to printing photographs on stuff, I am totally pleased with how the picture I chose turned out. -Molly
