In New Orleans this past week, I happened into a beautiful little stationery shop in the French Quarter called Papier Plume. I was immediately drawn to this line of eco-friendly, modern accessories cases from an Italian company called San Lorenzo.
The new iPad case and Kindle 3 case (shown) are the 21st century stars of the line--soft felt on the inside, a blend of regenerated leather and colorful natural rubber on the outside, making them not only pretty, but practical. The line also includes checkbook covers (I'm now a proud owner), notepads, and file folders for those of you who rock the pen and pad from time to time.
All the colors are beautiful, but I happen to like the bold red or orange, which contrast nicely with the charcoal felt accents. The best part: A $24.99 price tag (on Amazon) for an iPad case I would have thought to pay $50 or more for. Sweet. -Liz
Find the eco-friendly iPad case and Kindle 3 case by San Lorenzo online from our affiliate Amazon. Or if you're in New Orleans see them in person at the lovely Papier Plume.
